TLC Foundation
The TLC Foundation for Children is a 501C-3 not-for-profit foundation dedicated to promoting the health, education, welfare and betterment of children throughout the world. Established in the mid-1980s, The TLC Foundation has donated in excess of $4.5 million to worthy causes.
The Foundation is supported by Timber Lake Camp, Timber Lake West Camp, Tyler Hill Camp, North Shore Day Camp & School, Hampton Country Day Camp, Southampton Racquet Camp & Club, its full-time employees and the Jacobs Family.
SCOPE: The TLC Foundation is a major supporter of SCOPE – Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide children from underserved communities with life-changing opportunities through the summer camp experience. Founded by TLC’s Jay Jacobs, SCOPE funds camp scholarships at nonprofit resident camps where children benefit from a positive, safe and healthy environment led by excellent adult role models, who will help them develop their full potential.
Project Morry: Dedicated towards providing positive learning opportunities to children from underserved communities, the TLC Foundation is an avid supporter of Project Morry, a nonprofit, year-round youth development organization, anchored by a residential summer camp with an educational focus. Through a curriculum based on school gatherings and an intensive summer camp program, the children, for whom these experiences would not otherwise be available, benefit from a network of support and gain increased social skills, enhanced self-esteem, positive core values and a greater sense of personal responsibility.
